Yan Cruz is a Brazilian engineer, founder, and builder currently based in Berlin, Germany. He holds a background in Civil Engineering — studied across three universities, three countries — and is completing a Master's in Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability at Technische Universität Berlin.

Professionally, he works at Bloomhaus VC as an early-stage employee, operating across deal flow, analysis, and portfolio support. His flagship project is iDO!, a startup and entrepreneurship initiative supported by TU Berlin's EINS program, built around the conviction that access to entrepreneurship is not equally distributed and that this is worth fixing. He also builds software on his own terms: a macOS extraction utility, a bill-splitting app with AI OCR, a real-time audio translation pipeline. His technical stack spans Python, SQL, JavaScript, and automation tooling. He works at the intersection because that is where the interesting problems live.
